Don't you just love stories? Stories have power and they help us use more of
our minds, imagination and creativity, helping us to discover new things
about ourselves and about the world we live in.
Today I want to share with you a really beautiful story I heard a few years
back about the joy and beauty of giving and the happiness that comes from
giving without expecting anything in return. Often times we feel like we
can't really give anything to anyone since we don't have enough for
ourselves and we repeat this story to ourselves for so long and eventually
we make it part of our reality, but is that really true? Is there really
nothing you have to offer to the world? I doubt that.
Aren't there talents and skills you have, isn't there plenty of LOVE in your
heart to share it with those you care about; isn't there a smile on your
lips to offer to those who presently think they've got none?

There are so many things we can all offer to those around us and believe it
or not many of these things are free. If you have material things you would
like to give away to those who have less than you do, give it and if you
feel like you don't have any material possession to offer, give them your
time, your knowledge, your love and support and many of the things you have
that cost you nothing but they value a lot.
Joy of Giving
A woman who was traveling alone in the mountains found a precious stone in a
stream.
The next day she met another traveler who was hungry, the woman opened her
bag to share her food.
The hungry traveler saw the precious stone and asked the woman to give it to
him. She did so without hesitation.
The traveler left, rejoicing in his great fortune. He knew the stone was
worth enough to give him security for a lifetime.
But a few days later he came back to return the stone to the woman.
"I've been thinking," he said, "I know how valuable the stone is, but I give
it back in the hope that you can give me something even more precious. Give
me what you have within you that enabled you to give me the stone."
The woman smiled, "The joy of giving!"

The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at
Vanderbilt, also known as Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, is a children's
hospital affiliated with Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville,
Tennessee. The hospital is ranked among the best children's hospitals in the
nation by U.S. News & World Report.
The "Vanderbilt Children's Hospital" has been in operation since the 1970s,
but was housed in the main Vanderbilt hospital. Monroe J. Carell, Jr.,
former CEO of Central Parking Corporation, raised $79 million for the
construction of a new stand - alone facility, including $20 million from his
family's personal donations and additional money secured through fundraising
efforts. The 616,785 - square - foot (57,301.2 m2) hospital opened in
February 2004 with 238 inpatient beds, 16 operating rooms, 36 intensive care
unit beds, and space for 78 premature infants in the neonatal intensive -
care unit. The Hospital is still expanding, growing and helping the

at the festival or be a volunteer before the festival from your own

THE HOSPITAL YOU WOULD GIVE EVERY THING YOU OWN TO SEE THAT CURES WERE
FOUND AND THEY WERE SAFE!!!!
How can you help? Post and Re-Post and Re-Post
about the Teddy Bear Festival on your social network sites! That is how
they sell you car insurance, Wal Mart products, Cell Phones and the list
goes on an on via TV Ads! They flood the market with these ads and we
must do the same thing (flood the market) The more times they see the
posts the more times they think about it until one day the Green Light
comes on and they get it! That is truly how it works with things that
are successful. You can make this a success and
it won?t cost you
anything except maybe 20 or 30 minutes a day while you are browsing the
World Wide Web in those social networks like Facebook!
Other ways
you can help! Get local groups to join in the campaign, there are tons
of them like your local Lions Club, Rotary etc etc etc. Have a garage
sell and donate the money to the cause. Place a tip jar at your shows
with a print out about the Teddy Bear Festival and what it is for and
have your listeners and supporters put money in the jar, then send it
in. If you can create a song as a songwriter, create music as an artist,
then you can come up with some creative ideas to promote this event and
raise money for the children! Remember those of you who are CMG Radio
Club members that this is your Club and as a member of the club we need
you to support your clubs efforts.
We have
only a few short WEEKS to make this the best Indie Music Festival and
Benefit Week ? End ever and that will all depend on us working together.
Thanks to all the artist who have chosen to be on the stage and perform
at the Festival it will be a fun week end and a great time of sharing!
We want
this to become an annual event. We want this to be like the CMA?s fan
fair for the major artist. We want it to be the Indie?s Fan Fair each
year but it will take your help to make it a success.

education and welfare of music inventors and providers for all styles of
music people from whatever level they may be. We creating opportunity
within the conditions each of us lives, doing the best with what we have
to highlight products and services into the marketplace. We do it for
love. Love of music and to elevate others in the public arena. The fest
